This crazy quilt design was inspired by a crazy quilt my Great-Great-Great-Grandmother "Mam" and her daughter Josy created from 1900 to 1902. Josy's granddaughter, my Grandma June, divided up the quilt and framed the pieces for her children and grandchildren along with photos of the original creators and two successive generations of daughters. A family heirloom to be sure. I got to thinking about how it would make a wonderful scrapbook paper, or junk journal page. Being an artist myself, I decided to create this piece inspired by the crazy quilt, its stitches, and embroidery. I have also included the original completion date of "1902" and my initials (AP) for posterity. I hope you like these, and they can add some nostalgia to your own sentimental projects.

There are five files total: three PDF files, and two PNG Files. They include different size layouts with the design pattern at different scales, to suit different size projects. Whether you're scrapbooking, junk journaling, decoupaging, gift wrapping... so many possibilities! The PDF files are a two page, 12" x 12" layout, a six page 8.5" x 11" layout, and a four page 8" x 10" layout. The last two include portrait (vertical) layouts and landscape (horizontal) layouts. The PNG files are each a single page layout, duplicates of two of the portrait (vertical) 8.5" x 11" PDF layouts (just in case you need PNG files). The watermark of my name will not appear on the files you purchase for download. The PDFs are high quality print files and the PNG are 300 PPI (or DPI). Also, the PDFs are non editable files. Please swipe through the images to see the different layouts. After the layouts, are photos of crafts I made with the printed layouts. The first of these is a Junk Journal page I made with one of the 8.5" x 11" landscape (horizontal) layouts as a background (it only took half a sheet). The second photo is a tin I upcycled with one of the vertical layouts. The third photo is two 4" x 5" note cards I made with an 8" x 10" layout (cut in half and then folded in half). The fourth photo is a small gift I wrapped with another 8.5" x 11" layout. I printed the layouts on a Vellum Bristol Premium cardstock because it has a texture that gives the design a fabric like look. But you can use whatever paper works best for your project. This listing is for the crazy quilt design files only. The items in the last four photos are not included with the purchase of this listing. They are just some examples and ideas of how the files can be used.

To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order for example), if you contact me directly.

Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

• as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;

I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

• Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
• Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Data Retention

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google LLC is Privacy Shield certified and my email address is a Google gmail account.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

• Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
